Thirty Days in September

I've almost completely lost interest in writing as of late.  Go figure.  Catch up on this other little project of mine at the links below if you're new to the blog.

Sunday – 01 September 2013

Spaghetti and homemade meatballs. Win.

Song of the Day: Badge - Eric Clapton

Monday – 02 September 2013

Post Labor Day dim sum coma with my favorite bird dog.

Tuesday – 03 September 2013

BALL!

Song of the Day: Big Brown Eyes - Old 97's

Wednesday – 04 September 2013

Handwritten cards from the vets and techs who treated Maynard.  It's kind of an incredible thing that they did and it meant the world to me.  I sure do miss that little guy.

Thursday – 05 September 2013

Finally saw Butch live – better than even my exorbitant expectations.

Friday – 06 September 2013

Day-off-patio-pressure-washing-fun for me AND Belle.  Red-letter day, this.  I don't know what I would do without this crazy girl in my life.

Saturday – 07 September 2013

Random ATL: Midtown.  House party.  Ridiculousness.

Song of the Day: Not A Virgin - Poe

Sunday – 08 September 2013

Almost every meal I ever cook starts out like this.  Love it.

Monday – 09 September 2013

Perfect clear Monday morning ATL.

Tuesday – 10 September 2013

Roswell Mill diversion.  The firm is using this shot in an announcement for an upcoming art show that we are hosting.

Wednesday – 11 September 2013

9.11.

Thursday – 12 September 2013

Peaceful quick hike after work.  I hadn't been in these woods in a long time, good to be back.

Song of the Day: Like A Stone - Audioslave

Friday – 13 September 2013

Ben Harper at The Tabernacle was amazing tonight.  At the end of the set, he went a capella and killed the whole damn crowd.

Saturday – 14 September 2013

Went into the office this afternoon.  Blanked on why, so I took a stroll along Vickery Creek instead.

Sunday – 15 September 2013

Back in Katy, Texas for a Monday morning site visit.

Monday – 16 September 2013

Chililn' with the locals before flying back to the A.

Tuesday – 17 September 2013

I've probably taken some variation of this pic every time I've flown into DC.  Saarinen nailed it on this one though; love that building.

Song of the Day: Spanish Bombs - The Clash

Wednesday – 18 September 2013

Stole some time for a brief walk along the Potomac after a project punch walk.  Looks like they're holding on Phase IV so I probably won't be back to Northern Virginia for a while.  I hate that.  It's one of my favorites.

Thursday – 19 September 2013

During ball time with Belle in the back yard, I saw this bad boy shooting aerials over East Lake for the Tour Championship.  I like to imagine Snoopy was in fact at the controls.

Song of the Day: This D.J. - Warren G

Friday – 20 September 2013

East Atlanta Roll.  Good clean neighborhood fun.

Saturday – 21 September 2013

Soggy day in the 'Vil.  Not my best show, but not as bad as the last one.  I'll definitely set the market come spring, I'm sure of it.  Plus I still have a small show in October.

Sunday – 22 September 2013

First day of fall.  My little Dogwood agrees.

Monday – 23 September 2013

It was Monday.  All.  Day.  Long.  Then I got home and all was well!

Tuesday – 24 September 2013

Beautiful rainy morning drive.

Song of the Day: Hell - Squirrel Nut Zippers

Wednesday – 25 September 2013

Another epic traffic morning gifted me unexpected morning zen bonus time.

Song of the Day: Anna Molly - Incubus

Thursday – 26 September 2013

Early morning breakfast meeting in Buckhead.  I'm not a fan of breakfast, early meetings or Buckhead but I do love this building (in spite of my better judgement).

Friday – 27 September 2013

Red beans and rice and a tumble down memory lane.

Song of the Day: Gone For Good - The Shins

Saturday – 28 September 2013

I had designs on introducing Belle to a new ball today but her enthusiasm for the old one derailed me.  How can I say no to that face?  It was a beautiful day.  I should have taken her to the country.

Sunday – 29 September 2013

Much needed new color for the front steps.  Always good to get hands dirty on a Sunday afternoon.

Song of the Day: Wild Flower - The Cult

Monday – 30 September 2013

I had a site visit in Adairsville this morning.  That drive up through the hills made me want to just keep driving, like it always does.  In other news, I've come to the realization that what's missing in my life is access to a crane!  How much fun would that be?  A long road trip would certainly be easier to come by though, and more appropriate as well.
